Norman Duane Milks

Norman Duane Milks, born on March 3, 1947, formerly of Orchard Park, NY, entered into rest on February 1, 2025, in Eustis, Florida. He was a devoted schoolteacher who dedicated his life to shaping young minds and nurturing the hearts of countless children. His passion for education extended beyond the classroom; Norman’s warmth and kindness left a lasting mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Norman’s enthusiasm for nurturing young creativity didn’t just stop at teaching. He was an ardent supporter of the arts and a lifelong member of the Local Theater, where he shared his love for performance and the dramatic arts. Those who watched him perform could see his joy and passion flutter vibrantly, reminding them of the beauty of self-expression.

Norman was husband of the late Suzanne Milks; devoted father of Tara (Michael) Austin; and Melissa (James) Lestenkof; cherished grandfather of Megan Schroeder, Paige and Jacob Austin, Kyle, Jared, Christopher, and Kassie Lestenkof, and the late Nicholas Milks; loving son of the late Glenna Gregg.
