Norman D. Arman

Norman D. Arman, 90, of Mount Dora, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Born in Moran, Michigan, he moved to Mount Dora in December of 2016 from Blue Ridge, GA. He was the Athletic Grounds Administrator for Michigan State University prior to his retirement. Mr. Arman was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Arman enjoyed studying Maps and History. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed rooting for the Michigan Spartans and the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed refereeing for high school basketball. He is survived by his Wife, Mary Meyers-Arman of Mount Dora, FL; Daughter, Michele Toomey of Lansing MI; Step-Daughter, Jonie Ruby of Franklin, KY; Sister, Marilyn Floria of Munising, Mi; and Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
