Nelda F. Livingston

Nelda F. Livingston, Eustis, passed away on the morning of October 13th, 2015. She was born in Nashville, GA on June 7, 1927. Her parents were Ernest and Carolyn Forehand. She had eight brothers and sisters of which all have preceded her in death. Nelda moved to Eustis in 1949 with her husband Wiley Richard (Dick) Livingston. Dick and Nelda established Russell’s Department Store in 1949 which remained as a viable family business until 2000. Nelda was an active participant and supporter of local events and associations in Eustis. In her later years, she volunteered with the Eustis Chamber of Commerce. She found much enjoyment playing cards with her close friends and attending the First Baptist Church of Eustis where she was a long time member.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard (Rick) Livingston of Eustis and William (Bill) Livingston of New Braunfels, Texas. Her daughter, Kay Livingston, preceded her in death. Nelda has five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home of Eustis, Florida. Viewing will be held from on Sunday, October 18th from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Services will begin following the viewing at 2:30 PM. She will be buried beside her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida. Graveside services will be attended by the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
