Nancy L. Snow

Nancy Leigh Snow, 76, died at home on December 25, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. She was born February 15, 1937, in Yarmouth, Maine. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Leigh (Woods) Farwell. Nancy graduated from Westbrook High School, class of 1955. In 1956, she married Richard “Dick” Snow. After traveling around the country for a few years she moved to Enfield, Connecticut where they settled and raised their family of seven children. After her husband retired they moved to Eustis, Florida. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, bowling and playing cards with her friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to various casinos. She is survived by her loving husband Richard of 57 years; sons William and his wife Linda of Virginia Beach, VA; Stephen and his wife Carol of Enfield, CT, Michael and his wife Debra of Ellington, CT, Christopher and his wife Lisa of Enfield, CT, Gregory and his wife Susan of Chesterfield, VA and daughter Karen and her husband Jerry of Frederick, MD. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia and her husband Edward. A warm and loving mother, Nancy was very involved with her children and often attended more than one sporting event in a day while they were growing up. She taught her children tolerance, compassion, to treat others the way they would want to be treated and to never regret their decisions. Nancy had a great joy for life and will be sadly missed by all who shared in her life. Nancy also leaves 18 grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Kyle, Kristine, Katherine, Kimberly, Edward, Michelle, Natalie, Zachary, Joshua, Julia, Megan, Erin, Sarah, Jacob, Lindsey and Matthew along with three great grand children Grace, Angelina and Connor. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
