Michael Alan Walker

Michael Alan Walker, 57, of Tavares, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he moved to Mount Dora in 1994 from Lake Worth, Florida. Michael was an Insurance Agent and was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church of Eustis, where he served as Deacon and was a teacher in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. Michael also served as a counselor and chaplain in the Florida State Prison System. He is survived by his wife, Tianhua Wang Walker of Tavares, FL; parents, Rev. Bob and Bonnie Walker of Tavares, FL; son, Jared Walker of Tavares, FL; daughter, Jordan (Chris) Daley of Tavares, FL; 2 brothers, Damon (Beth) Walker of Woodstock, GA and Dwayne (Tara) Walker of Eustis, FL. Services will be held at Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 till 2:00 PM.
