Maryann Mitchell, 79, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Born in London, Ontario, Canada, she lived in Florida from 1979-2002 and moved to Leesburg in 2016 from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a Benefits Coordinator at Adventist Health Systems and was a member of the Mount Dora Seventh-day Adventist Church. Maryann was an awesome mother, phenomenal organist, and loved all her dogs. She was an extraordinary cook specializing in her famous macaroni & cheese, pies, cinnamon roll T-rings and meat loaf. She is survived by her son, Vincent Rigg, Berrien Springs, MI; 2 daughters, Gwyneth Drummond, Leesburg, FL and Shereen (Parke) Smith, Berrien Springs, MI; step-son, Brian (Cynthia) Mitchell, Apopka, FL; step-daughter, Sharon (Stephen) Fitzgerald, Bryson City, NC; sister, Ruth (Emil) Moldrik, Lake Placid, FL; 6 grandchildren, Rabbi Aaron (Carolyn) Drummond, Emily Smith, Alison Smith, Makenna Rigg, Chase Rigg, Ciara Rigg; 2 great-grandchildren, Khara Drummond, Elisha Drummond; 3 step-grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell, Dallas Mitchell, Casey (Anna) Drummond.
