Mary K. Scott, 79, of Eustis, passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. Born in Franklin County, Ohio, she moved to Eustis in 1987 from Miami, Florida. Mary was the Director of Human Resources and was the first female promoted to Senior Vice President at Coral Gables Federal Savings & Loan Bank. She was Protestant. Mary loved traveling, camping, sewing and was active in her community. Mary is survived by her brother, Daniel (Inez) Kimball, Mills River, NC; sister-in-law, Roberta; nieces, Cindy, Angie, Paula; nephews, Brian, Robert (Pam), Charles (Stacy) Kimball; 6 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; her cherished friends and caregivers, Betty & Aaron Boyd & their son Rique; and the Stoklosa family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gilbert A. Scott; parents, Byron & Ella Kimball; sister, Jacque Ellen; and brother, Charles Kimball. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Homeprior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
