Mary Frances Goff Morris

Mary Frances Goff Morris, 88, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020. Born in Orlando, Florida, she met her husband Aubrey in Tifton, GA. They moved back to Central Florida from McRae, GA in 1958. Mary was a school teacher for many years. Even after retirement, she volunteered with Lake County schools. She was a member of the Lake County Quilt Guild and Life Community Church, Eustis. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Edwin, mother, Lois, brothers, Edwin, Carl, Jimmy, and Glen. She is survived by her husband of 65½ years, Aubrey Morris, Leesburg, FL; 2 daughters, Cindy (Ronnie) Waugh, Senoia, GA, Nancy (Rev. John) Schneck, Mount Dora, FL; sister, Carolyn Perkins, Cairo, GA; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Waugh, Rebecca Waugh, Jordon Register (Savannah), Jessica Schlegel (Robby); 4 great-grandchildren, Kenadi, Olive, Colton & Cavitt. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a public celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Private graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
