Mary Kathleen Beland

of The Villages, FL, went home to Heaven to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she moved to The Villages in 2006 from Miami, Florida. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating in 1974, working as an MRA Auditor until retirement in 2017. Kathleen was a very devoted Christian and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in The Villages and sponsor of CBN (The Christian Broadcasting Network) and The 700 club. Everyone who knew Kathleen loved her and that beautiful sweet smile that lit up every room. She loved spending time with her family, many friends and co-workers, going dancing and most of all singing. Kathleen enjoyed many years singing professionally in Miami, FL, singing in her church choir and singing karaoke here in The Villages with The Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow and also with DJ Pat Atkinson. She is survived by her son, Isaac Thomas Glosson; Daughters, Gail Harrison and Cheryl Ambrose, son-in-law Philip Ambrose; Big 4 sons: Sammy Cohen, Steve Cohen, Brett Cohen, Brian Cohen; Brother, Jesse Mayfield; Sister, Virginia (Polly) Watson; 1st Cousins, Linda and Bob Riese; 2nd Cousins, Larry and Danielle Freeman, Melinda Hershey, James and Julia Leonard; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Kathleen, beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend, will be deeply missed.
