Martin Louis "Marty" Wesche, 67, of Grand Island, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015. Born in Wellsville, New York, he moved to Grand Island in 2009 from Ithaca, New York. He was a founding member of the Petrolia Fire Department, member of various cross-country ski clubs, Carpenters Union Local 66. Marty enjoyed remodeling homes, making cabinets, he loved gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wellsville, NY. Marty is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilynn S. Wesche, Grand Island, FL; son, Jeffrey M. (Lisa) Wesche, Ithaca, NY; daughter, Colleen Pearl Wesche Reilly (Josh Jones), Newfield, NY; 3 brothers, Arthur (Diane) Wesche, Henrietta, NY, Roger Wesche, Wellsville, NY, Harold (Nena) Wesche, Wellsville, NY; 5 brothers-in-law, Stephen Allen, Dwight Allen, James Allen, Kevin Allen, Gregory Allen; 2 sisters-in-law, Marcella Culbert, Agnes Allen; 5 grandchildren, Erika Wesche, Emma Wesche, Scotia (Levi) Scott, Francis Reilly, Daniel Reilly; 2 great-grandchildren, Kiera & Leah Scott; and many nieces & nephews. Services will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 5:00 PM. The family will receive friends prior the service from 4:00 till 5:00 PM.
