Martin S. Rice

Martin S. "Marty" Rice, born January 27, 1940 in Nashville, TN, he left this earthly home for better places on February 23, 2014 at home with his family. Marty moved to Akron, OH when he was 2. He graduated from high school there. Before moving to Florida in 1978, he was a truck driver. He was a member of Teamsters Local #385. He last drove for Select Space in Orlando. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lu Rice, Mount Dora, FL; 3 daughters, Pamela (Bret), Daphne (Ron), Katherine (Mike), all of Ohio; 2 sons, Stewart (Samantha), Mount Dora, FL, Michael (Barbara) of New Mexico; He was preceded in death by his son, Mark. Memorial services will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
