Marion Elizabeth Gore Miller, 76, of Mount Dora, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, August 14, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Oviedo, FL, she lived the last twenty years of her life in Mount Dora, where she had also grown up and attended high school. She was a retired legal secretary, and after retiring in 2008, Marion remained active in her community and served as the Secretary of the Vestry for Epiphany Anglican Church, Eustis. For the last several years, Marion baked communion bread for weekly church services, enjoyed annual trips to Sanibel Island with close friends, and attended the Daytona 500, enjoying an exciting, newfound hobby in her later years. In November 2010, Marion’s 75th Birthday Party was attended by family and friends from all aspects of her life. She was celebrated by her professional colleagues, her church family, and high school friends alike. In remembrance of this, a Celebration of Marion’s Life is being planned for her birthday in November, with more detail to come. Marion is survived by her daughter, Melanie Anne Miller, Mount Dora, FL; 2 brothers, John Gore, Mount Plymouth, FL, Bob Gore, Flagler Beach, FL; and several nieces & nephews.
