Marie Culwell Gower

Marie Culwell Gower, 94, of Eustis, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Born in Joelton, TN, she moved to Eustis in 1982 from Miami, FL. She was a secretary/bookkeeper/office manager at Northwest Baptist Church, a Miami Springs Florist and an investment company. She was a member of LifePointe Church in Eustis. She taught children and adults in Sunday School at Church. She regularly visited the sick and elderly. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years William C. Gower. Marie is survived by son, Bruce (Etah) Gower, Budapest, Hungary; daughter, Carol Elmore, Umatilla; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Culwell Hunt, Paris, TN. Services will be held at LifePointe Church, Eustis on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made payable to LifePointe Church for the Skip Heymans Recreation Park.
