Marie P. Carasims

Marie P. Carasims, 92, of Dona Vista, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she moved to Dona Vista in 1978 from Stamford, Connecticut. She was a Accountant for the State of Florida. Marie was a member of the Business & Professional Women, the Eustis Women's Club, St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis and was a very active volunteer & member of the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband, Jim, owned & operated Sim's Hardware of Eustis from 1978-1995. . Marie is survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Christine Athens, Anne Willett as well as many nieces & nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.
