Marie Edna Allen

Marie Edna Allen, 87, of Tavares, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. Born in Fairfield, Florida, she moved to Lake County in 1987 from Waukesha, Wisconsin. She was a devoted homemaker and worked several jobs throughout her life including being a public transportation driver. Marie was a member of the Lake Saunders Baptist Church, Tavares. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Terry L. Allen, Tavares, FL; son, Bill (Debbie) Allen, Tahlequah, OK; 2 sisters, Pat Cheatman, Lewisburg, TN, Winnie Smith, Spring Hill, FL; 7 grandchildren. Rachel, Nathan, Nicole, Jason, Samantha, Kayla, Jeremy; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:00 till 10:00 AM.
