Margaret Louise Biddle

Margaret Louise Biddle, 89, of Eustis, FL passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born in Hastings, FL and grew up in the Palatka area. In 1953 she graduated from Putnam High School and married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Richard. Margaret worked in the trucking industry but chose to be a full-time homemaker after her children were born. Margaret and Richard raised their 4 daughters in the Altamonte Springs area until job transfers took them to Colorado, Alabama, and Arkansas, and retirement brought them home to Florida in 2000. She enjoyed golfing, boating, and spending time with her family. She dedicated her life to being the sweetest and most loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a kind and true Southern lady and a blessing to those who knew her. We will forever miss her hugs, beautiful smile, and gentle ways. Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Lucius and Georgia Methvin; her husband of 69 years, Richard J. Biddle; her daughter, Debra M. Hope; and brothers Bill and Ben Methvin. She is survived by 3 daughters, Cheryl Frazier of Sorrento FL; Melinda (Paul) Moore of Montverde; Pam (Jody) Brown of Debary FL; son-in-law Larry Hope of Murfreesboro TN; brother Jack Methvin of Altamonte Springs, FL; sister-in-law Ginger Methvin of Palatka, FL; brother-in-law Donald (Rhonda) Biddle of Maricopa, AZ; sister-in-law Nancy Biddle of Dayton, TX; honorary daughter Denise Marks Biddle of Rantoul, Illinois; and honorary son Jeffery Biddle of Lake Helen, FL; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces/nephews, extended family and friends. Services will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM prior to the service.
