Luis Alberto Sanabria Sr.

Luis Alberto Sanabria, Sr., 68, of Mount Dora, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021. Born in The Bronx, New York, he moved to Mount Dora in 2017 from The Bronx. He worked as a store associate in Home Depot and was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Dora. Prior to moving to Florida, Luis worked in the meat packing industry and had been a member of The Christian Church John 3:16 in The Bronx for over 40 years. In his retirement, he worked proudly for Home Depot for over 20 years both in New York and in Florida. Luis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ramona M. Sanabria, Mount Dora, FL; son, Luis A. (Cynthia) Sanabria, Jr., Mount Dora, FL; daughter, Danita (Mike) Rodriguez, Matawan, NJ; mother, Guillermina Sanabria, Apopka, FL; 3 brothers, Jose (Evelyn) Sanabria, Apopka, FL, David (Yvette) Sanabria, Houston, TX, Peter (Mildred) Sanabria, Mansfield, TX; sister, Rebecca (Peter) Nieves, Apopka, FL; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Elijah; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church, Mount Dora on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 2:00 till 4:00 PM. Services will be held at the church at 6:00 PM.
