Lubbert William VanDellen

Lubbert William Van Dellen, 94, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he moved to Eustis in 1988 from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a Christian Reformed Church Minister and was a member of the Orlando Oasis Community Church. He served in the US Army in Europe during World War II. He was a member of the Kiwanis, Republican National Committee and was the Chaplain at Leesburg Health & Rehab Center. He is survived by his wife, Charmian Powell Van Dellen, Eustis, FL; 2 sons, David W. (Sharolyn) vanDellen, Paint Lick, KY, Lubbert J. (Jayna) Van Dellen, Scotts, MI; daughter, Geneva A. Castleberg, Apopka, FL; 3 sisters-in-law, Eleanor Spykman, Grand Rapids, MI, Frona Hendriksen, Ormond Beach, FL, Barbara Voshel, Grand Rapids, MI; 11 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Eustis on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Reformed Home Mission Board or to the Organ Fund at First Presbyterian Church, Eustis.
