Levasco Shirey

Levasco "Lee" Shirey, 78, of Tavares, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010. Born in Whitmire, South Carolina, he moved to Tavares in 1989 from Crown Point, Indiana. He was a Air Pollution Operator in the Steel Industry and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tavares. Levasco served in the Air Force during Korea. He is survived by his son, Randy Shirey, Dunedin, FL; daughter, Melanie Gaba, Brookfield, IL; 2 sisters, Julia Rikard, Newberry, SC, Patricia Alexander, Whitmire, SC; 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan & Noah. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
