Leanne Elizabeth Goddard, 56, made the journey to her eternal home on August 27, 2024, where she now rests safely in the arms of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Leanne's five-year battle with Myasthenia Gravis never once caused her to lose even a grain of her faith in Jesus. Leanne was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and she was a wonderful example of a woman driven by her purpose and faith in God. She would often challenge others to be the best possible version of themselves to allow the light of our Lord to shine through them.
Leanne was born on July 31, 1968, in Taos, NM. Then quickly adopted by her loving parents, Robert and Anne Linville and was soon joined by a spunky little brother, Greg. Leanne met the love of her life Paul Douglas Goddard, lll, in 1986 and the two forever best friend and “peas in a pod” were married in a beautiful ceremony on June 8, 1991. They were married just over 33 years and shared far too many wonderfully amazing adventures to count, including founding the Access-Life, Inc ministry in 2010, which by God's amazing Grace, has flourished.
While they never had children of their own, they adopted and showered much love upon two toy poodles, "Tipper" and "Cocoa". Then, later, were gifted their current canine child, Joy Hallelujah, a.k.a. "Lulu", all of which have brought such tremendous happiness to their lives.
Leanne developed a passion for music at an early age and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in music business in 1990 from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She was always an "old soul" and really loved hymns and classical music, she was an excellent cook, and an avid knitter who was pursuing her mastered knitter's certification.
Leanne was proceeded in death by her wonderful parents, Robert and Anne Linville, who were there to meet her at the gates of Heaven.
She is survived by her loving husband and forever soulmate Paul Douglas Goddard, lll "Doug"; canine daughter, Lulu; her loving, kind, hard-working brother, Greg Linville; cherished father and mother-in-law, Paul Douglas Goddard Jr and Caroline Goddard; sister-in-law, Catherine Goddard Dziewulski; Brother-in-law, Ben Goddard; sister-in-law, Leigh Goddard; nephews, Doug and Robert Linville, Henley and Bradford Goddard; nieces, Laura Linville, Evelyn Goddard, and Wallis Mae Dziewulski; as well as many great nephews and nieces, treasured friends and loved ones.
Now that Leanne has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on earth may be over, but this is just the beginning of an eternal and beautiful growth of her legacy of impact for Christ she has made on so many lives on earth.
