Lawrence C. Towne

Lawrence C. Towne left this earth on September 21, 2015 surrounded with love at his home in Eustis. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, June Forjan Towne, his 4 children, Nick (Chrystal), Natalie Reeves Lopez, Patrick (Jayne) and Margaux Towne-Colley, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and Rudy, Phil and Ron Forjan whom he loved as brothers. Larry proudly served his country in the Air Force. He was in the foliage industry but enjoyed most the time he spent driving and training standardbred horses. Larry never knew a stranger and found good in everyone. He always brought light and laughter wherever he was. He will never be forgotten but eternally missed. There will be a celebration of his life at the Amvets, Post 1992, 32201 Amvets Way, Mount Dora on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
