Lawrence Thomas Terry

Lawrence Thomas Terry, 88, of Tavares, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013. Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, he moved to Central Florida in 1956 from Cleveland, Ohio. He was a Sheet Metal Specialist in the Airconditioning Industry and was of Presbyterian faith. Lawrence served in the Navy during World War II and landed in the First Wave assault on the Normandy Coast.. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Orlando Lodge. He is survived by his Wife, Barbara M. Terry of Tavares, FL; Daughter, Susan R. Terry of Tavares, FL; Brothers, Ray Terry of Eustis, FL and Richard Terry of Cleveland, OH; Sisters, Loretta Lehman of Sacramento, CA, Jane Wilson of Tennessee, and Sue Bullock of Buford, GA; Grandchildren, Trina Sowell and Justin Sowell; and Great-Grandchild, Cayden Young. Inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Corner Stone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
