Laverne R. Phillips

Laverne R. Phillips, 88, of Eustis, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019. Born in Pelham, Georgia, she moved to Eustis as a child in 1933. She was a fruit packer and retail clerk for Golden Gem Growers, working there for over 40 years. When she retired, she had worked there longer than any other employee ever had. Laverne was a member of First Baptist Church, Eustis. She is survived by her 3 sons, Ronnie (Gail) Phillips, Grand Island, FL, Bobby (Debi) Phillips, Grand Island, FL, Timmy (Noel) Phillips, Umatilla, FL; daughter, Shelia (Ronnie) Parsons, Orlando, FL; brother, Roy Warren, Tavares, FL; sister, Carol Pierce, Eustis, FL; 11 grandchildren, Ami, Kelly, Brian, Fawn, Jennifer, Jonathan, Christopher, Michelle, Jason, Jimmy, Ronda; 23 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
