Kimberly E. Lonsdale, 59, of Eustis, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. Born in Eustis, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of Eustis. Kim was extremely proud of her Native American Heritage. She was ½ Cherokee. She was a Charter Member of the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. Kim was also a life member of ABATE of Florida. As a mother and grandmother, she shared and instilled her love of reading, music, and family with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband and best friend of more than 40 years, Richard A. Lonsdale, 2 sons, Johnathan (Olimpia) Lonsdale, St. Cloud, FL, Alexander (Bobbie) Lonsdale, Aripeka, FL; mother, Jane Coates, Lisbon, FL; 3 sisters, Mary Michal (Rodney) Len, Grand Island, FL, Jennifer Sears Gaskins, Starke, FL, Sarah (John) Coates Nordman, Gainesville, FL; 5 grandchildren, Sadie, Elliott, Mika, Grady, Parker; 1 great-grandchild, Willow; and many loving pets. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
