Kenneth D. "Ken" Sutton, 72, of Tavares, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. Born in Waverly, Kansas, he moved to Washington, Missouri in 1987. He was a Sales Manager for Schwan's Food Service and was active in St. Louis with the Red Baron Airplanes and charitable organizations. In 2005, he met his wife Carole and married her in 2007. Upon retirement, they traveled and moved to Clermont, Florida. Ken was an avid fisherman, so they moved to Tavares where they could enjoy the surrounding lakes. Ken was very active in their community and always helped others. He also enjoyed wood turning, creating beautiful works of art. Ken was a loving husband, father and friend and great mentor to all of his previous employees over the years. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Carole A. Sutton, Tavares, FL; 5 adopted children, Mike, Sam, Melissa, Shawna, Kate; Stepdaughter, Kristina; 2 half-sisters, Theresa, Reva; half-brother, Gerry; 12 grandchildren; Step grandchildren, Max and Sydney; and 7 great-grandchildren.
