Judith A. Truffin

Judith A. Truffin, 73, of Eustis, FL passed away Monday, April 26, 2021. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Judi’s journey with Terry took her to many points of ministry throughout the United States before moving to Eustis in 2016 from Minneola, FL to be near her grandchildren. Judi remembered fondly co-laboring with Terry, her father Edwin, and the rest of the family to open and operate The Good Book Shoppes in North Olmsted and Berea, OH. For 10 years, Judi was an Executive Secretary for the Walt Disney Imagineering team which not only brought wonder into many lives but also created wonderful memories for her family. Judi’s love of Jesus led her to serve wherever she was. She continually put good into the world. She was always ready to sing and play piano, to sew special outfits and, in the last year, many protective face coverings, to bake those special goodies that make a special day amazing. In her 70s, Judi took on the new challenge of tutoring grandchildren in algebra and English. She sacrificed much of her time to make each grandchild feel uniquely loved and accepted.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rev. Terry L. Truffin of Eustis, FL; son, Todd (Sherry) Truffin of Fuquay-Varina, NC; daughter, Joy (Christopher) Langley of Eustis, FL; sister, Nancy (Theodore) Burcham of Strongsville, OH and 5 grandchildren, Mercy, Jubilee, DJ, Zoe, and Ezekiel.

A funeral service will be held at Hillside Community Church, Minneola on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Monday, May 3, 2021.
