Joyce Wells Evans-Norcross

Joyce Wells Evans-Norcross, 71, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born in Cannon, Delaware to the late William Crole and Anna Elizabeth (Ward) Abbott, she moved to Eustis in 1998, from Kendall, Florida, where she owned and operated P.S. Catering. Later moving to Leesburg in 2010. Joyce was a member of Victory Church, Dona Vista. She was a past member of IHAM ladies club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Eustis Historical Society, and had previously held a position on the Eustis Code Enforcement Board. She is survived by her husband, Geoffrey Norcross, Leesburg, FL; 2 sons, Robert Lee (Zoe) Wells, Holly Springs, NC, Shawn Michael (Shawna) Wells, Apopka, FL; 2 daughters, Joan Barfus, Newnan, GA, Gail Shelow, Kendall, FL; son-in-law, Russell Martin, Riverview, FL; 2 brothers, William C. (Jane) Abbott, Rockledge, FL, Ronald W. (Marilyn) Abbott, O'Brien, FL; 2 sisters, Sarah (Akin) Lee, Eustis, FL, Addie Horne, Rockledge, FL; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Evans, Jr; daughter, Kathy M. Martin; sister, Phyllis A. Jones. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
