Joshua A. Hunt, 31, of Eustis, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born in Dayton, Ohio, his family moved to Florida in 1989. Joshua has resided in Eustis for 17 years. At age 12 ½ the onset of a chronic disease called type 1 Diabetes changed his life. Although the disease was 24/7 and a more than full time burden, his outstanding achievements championed over the disease. Joshua was gifted with intelligence, wit and charm. He enjoyed multiple activities such as running, sports, BMX biking, pool, golf, disc golfing and poetry. Whether in a college classroom or welding in a pharmaceutical lab, Martin Marietta or out of state 200 feet in the air, all proud moments of excellence. His favorite part in the achievements was not the recognition, but the work it took to deserve it. Joshua is survived by his parents, Laura and David Poulter of Eustis, FL, and Jeffrey A. Hunt and his wife, Kim of Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Nickolas Poulter of Eustis, and Andrew Marrenger and his wife Krissy of Tampa; sister, Autumn Lopez of Sarasota, FL; aunt, Jennifer R. Hunt of Macon, GA; uncle, Mark Heisey of Ohio; grandparents, Lowell and Patricia Hunt of Nokomis, FL; 2 fabulous “D.A.D.” dogs, Gracie and Abbey; and by a host of multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends throughout his life which has ended too soon. Joshua was predeceased by his grandparents, Phyllis and Glenn Heisey.
