Josephine Lee Matteson, 85, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, she moved to Leesburg in 1983 from Clearwater, FL. She was a Co-Owner and Operator of Pinch-a-Penny from 1983-1996. She is survived by her husband, Emory Matteson, Leesburg, FL; 2 sons, Daniel M. Beard, Tavares, FL, Joseph Beard, Gatlinburg, TN; 2 daughters, Rebecca McLaughlin, Eustis, FL, Sue Halter, Gatlinburg, TN; brother, Richard Edwards, Bell, FL; 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 3:45 AM.
