Joseph Lee Ford, 68, of Apopka, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. Born in Melrose, Florida, he moved to Apopka in 1960 from Melrose. He and his wife owned a hauling company. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church, Umatilla and was a member of the C.B. Club. "He was one of the last Boy Scouts" Lee earned a Bronze Star and an Air Medal while serving in the US Army during Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Daphne Ford, Apopka, FL; 5 sons, Codey Joe Ford, Groveland, FL, Jesse Lee Ford, British Columbia, Canada, Dalton Frank Ford, Apopka, FL, Chad Cooper Ford, Apopka, FL, Doc Frank Ford, Orlando, FL; 3 daughters, Jessica Lee Kelaita, Clarksville, TN, Kishi Marie Futral, Interlachen, FL, Markitta Mae Ford, Apopka, FL; sister, Dorothy, Chipley, FL; 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3:30 PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
