Jose M. Tomé

Jose M. Tomé, 83, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. Born in Sao Bras, Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal, he moved to Eustis in 2004 from Taunton, Massachusetts where he had lived since 1974. He worked many jobs, lastly in construction before retiring. Jose was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Angelina Tomé, Eustis, FL; 2 sons, Jose Manuel (Doreen Pereira) Tomé, Taunton, MA, Adelino (Kelli) Tomé, Grand Island, FL; 4 daughters, Venilde (Jose Francisco) Rodrigues, Eustis, FL, Josefina (Roberto) Medeiros, Eustis, FL, Luisa (Laudalino) Viana, Eustis, FL, Filomena (Timothy) O'Leary, Taunton, MA; 2 brothers, Adelino Tomé, Taunton, MA, Manuel Tomé, Lehigh Acres, FL; 2 sisters, Lurdes Pimentel, Lehigh Acres, FL, Idalina DeMello, Taunton, MA; 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Fatima Correia, Venilde Tomé. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
