Jonathon M. Harrica, age 37, of Grand Island, Florida, passed away in a traffic accident on Sunday May 2, 2021. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY and moved to Florida in 2004 from his hometown of Dannemora, NY. Jonathon attended Clinton Community College and ITT Tech in Lake Mary, FL. Jonathon was the Internet Manager with Phillips Toyota of Leesburg, FL. Jonathon is survived by his parents, Richard and Elaine Harrica, his sisters Bree Pisacane (Jeffrey) of Gansevoort, NY and Shann Taylor (Chad) of Morrisonville, NY as well as his brother Patrick (Kate) of Plattsburgh, NY and his nieces Elonne, Qwin, Reagan, and Riley.
Jonathon took pride in his work and mentored many co-workers. He was generous, always giving without hesitation when he saw someone struggling. Whenever Jon was around, everyone was constantly laughing at his quick wit. He could turn anything into a joke and always saw the humor in life. He loved music and was a talented guitar player, constantly jamming to his favorite metal riffs. He was never seen without his favorite metal t-shirts. Jon loved his dog Pancake and his two horses. He spent many hours at the barn with his girls Sandy and Gracie. Jon loved going to concerts and riding his motorcycle, living life to the fullest. Because of his laid-back personality, we know he is saying, “Relax guys, it’s great up here. We’ll see each other again soon.”
