John D. Towns, 83, of Tavares, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia , he moved to Tavares in 1996 from Freeland, Pennsylvania. He was an executive with commercial kitchen equipment. John served in the U.S. Navy during Korea. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara B.
