John G. "Red" Lanier

March 10, 1945 — December 15, 2020

John G. "Red" Lanier, 75, of Eustis, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Born in Eustis, Florida, he was a life-long Eustis resident that loved his family, his home and his community. He was a commercial truck driver by profession and was a member of First Assembly of God, Eustis. John was an avid motorcycle rider, being especially fond of Honda Goldwing Cycles. He also very much enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hunting, being apart of several local Jeep clubs or going to the racetrack as he was a loyal NASCAR fan. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley A. Lanier of Eustis, FL, Daughter, Luwana Milner of Eustis, FL, Daughter, Terina (Donnie) Kent of Umatilla, FL and 2 Grandchildren, Lindsey Grantham and Ivey Grantham. John was predeceased by his Brother, David G. Lanier and 4 Sisters, Henrietta Hughes, Juanita Hutchenson, Eunice Dempsey and Madge Reagin. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens.
