John N. Costello

John N. Costello, 79, of Mount Dora, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Mount Dora in 1981 from Staten Island, New York. He was a Police Officer for the City of New York prior to his retirement and was a member of the former All Saints Roman Catholic Chapel. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol Ann in 2018.  John is survived by his son, John Jr. and his wife Laura, FL; daughter, Eileen and her husband Edward, FL; 2 brothers, Nicholas Costello, Jackson, NJ, Charles Costello, Staten Island, NY; sister, Nora Ryan, Staten Island, NY; 2 grandchildren, Johnathan & Krystal. A requiem Mass was said on January 21st at Holy Innocents Hermitage in Paisley, FL.   Visitation & Rosary for John will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM to 12:30 with the Rosary and prayers.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
