John Richard Alden, Jr., 51, of Sorrento, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Born in Saratoga Springs, New York, he moved to Sorrento in 2005 from Concord, California. He was a very proud member of the Iron Workers Union Local #378 of Benicia, California and was Baptist. John is survived by his son, Cory John Alden, Concord, CA; father, John Richard Alden, Sr., Indian Lake, NY; mother, Carol Ann Alden, Mount Dora, FL; brother, Jeffrey Alden, Gloversville, NY; 2 sisters, Laurie Case, Greenfield, NY, Mary Morgan, Mount Dora, FL.
