JoAnn K. Walters

Jo Ann K. Walters, 73, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011. Born in Donalsonville, Georgia, she moved to Lake County in 1953 from Miller County, GA. She worked at the Mount Dora Dairy Queen from 1977 - 1997, and was a volunteer with the Florida Hospital Waterman Pink Ladies Auxillary from 1997 - 2002. She was a preschool Bible Teacher for many years and she loved to sew, quilt, cross stitch and embroider. Jo Ann was a member of the Orange Avenue Church of Christ, Eustis, FL . She is survived by her Husband - Ross H. Walters of Eustis, FL; Daughters - Debra Plyler of Pleasant Grove, AL, Terry Lashley of Mount Dora, FL, and Sheila G. Wilson of Delray Beach, FL; Sister - Mary K. Mc Dowell of Hartsford, AL; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Orange Avenue Church of Christ, Eustis on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 3:30 PM till 5:00 PM.
