Joan Davis, 72, of Umatilla, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. Born in Umatilla, Florida, she moved back to Lake County in 1989 from Austin, Texas. Joan is survived by her son, Ernest Michael (Mike) Wood (Jamie), Umatilla, FL; 2 daughters, Sherie D. Lindh (Christopher), Umatilla, FL, Shontina Maya (Christopher), Lavon, TX; 2 brothers, Don Davis, Umatilla, FL, Jimmy Davis, Umatilla, FL; sister, Barbara Rich, Summerfield, FL; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Morning Star Cowboy Church, Leesburg on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:30 PM.
