Jimmie L. Monk

Jimmie L. Monk, 83, of Eustis, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born in Lakeland, Florida, he moved to Eustis in 1934 from Winter Haven, FL. He was a Quality Control Technician with Shasta Beverage of Eustis. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Eustis and the VFW post #8087. Jimmie served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea. He is survived by Wife, Mary Joe Monk of Eustis, FL; Sons, William Lee Monk of Houston, TX and David Brian Monk of Fergus Falls, MN; Daughter, Lisa Ann Slone of Leesburg, FL; Grandchildren, Sarah Monk, Taylor Monk, Austin Slone and Hunter Slone. Services will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
