Jeffrey Paul Arnold, 65, of Eustis, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. Born in Medina, Ohio, he moved to Eustis in 1980 from Melbourne, Florida. He was a Restaurateur, owning and operating Jeffrey Paul's Chophouse of Eustis and Leesburg. He loved playing golf and was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora. Jeff is survived by his 3 sons, Ian Andrew Arnold, Weirsdale, FL, Charles Adam Arnold, Sherman Oaks, CA, Aaron Paul Arnold, Longwood, FL; mother, Louise Murphy, Leesburg, FL; brothers, Jerry Arnold, Leesburg, FL, Rob Arnold, Byron, NY, Charles Brunty, Cocoa Beach, FL and Dean Brunty, Merritt Island, FL; sisters, Candis Arnold, Winder, GA, Sharon Cherny, Kingston, NY and Simone Zimmer, New Bern, NC; 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father, Andrew Paul Arnold and mother, Lenore Venham Brunty. Jeff had a great memory for sports trivia and sports records. He was passionate about the Ohio State Buckeye Football teams and loved the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Cavaliers professional sports teams. Jeff spent hours being entertained by the Worldwide Wrestling Federation (WWF) and to no one's surprise he loved the panache of Ric Flair. In the 1990's Jeff was a Maitre d' of Del Frisco's Steakhouse, now Christner's Prime Steak of Orlando. He followed his dream of owning his own fine dining restaurant with his wife and business partner: Linda Kreibick Arnold, and together created Jeffrey Paul's Chop House. They purchased The Colonial Inn property in Eustis and remodeled, with respect and preservation of a longtime Eustis establishment, to create the Golden Triangle's first very fine dining chop house. Jeffrey's special preparation of Bananas Foster, a long stem rose to each lady patron, and fanciful style will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church, Mount Dora on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to AdventHealth Orlando Foundation, 2710 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32804.
