Janet P. Ponton, 78, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. Born in Syracuse, New York, she moved to Eustis in 2001 from Saratoga Springs, NY. She was a community home director working with the State of New York for mentally handicapped individuals prior to her retirement. Janet is survived by her 2 sons, Ronald A. (Shannon) Ponton, Jr. of Corinth, NY, David M. (Betty) Ponton of North Charleston, SC; 3 daughters, Peggy A. Ponton of Sun City Center, FL, Sharon P. Pemble of Eustis, FL, and Sheryl M. (Ken) Rossburg of Tampa, FL; 2 brothers, Jack Pauls of Henrico, VA, Robert Pauls of Long Lake, NY and other extended family members.
