Janet M. Hartigan

Janet M. Hartigan of Tavares FL, died Monday, March 1, 2010. Mrs. Hartigan was born in Goffstown, NH on November 26, 1930, the daughter of Richard M. Leroux & Ruby M. (Lakeman) Leroux. Mrs. Hartigan was a longtime resident of Hillsboro, NH before moving to Florida in 1981. She had been employed for several years at the Hillsboro Pharmacy and CVS Pharmacy's in Florida. She was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. She was a life member of the American Legion, Post 59 of Hillsboro, NH, a former member of the Eastern Star in Hillsboro and served for over 25 years with the Florida Hospital/Waterman Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul; son, Dale and his wife Cathleen of Orlando, FL; a grandson, Eric, serving with the Air Force in Iraq; and a granddaughter, Jessica of Tallahassee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Leroux. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Goffstown, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hillside Methodist Church, 45 Center St, Goffstown, NH 03045.
