Janet Louise Lynch (née Weston), 90, of Tavares, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2024. Janet was born on October 17, 1933, in Westlake, Ohio. At an early age, she moved with her family to a farm on Durkee Road in North Eaton Township. Janet graduated from Eaton High School in 1951. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. G.N. Rubin in Elyria. In 1955 she married, her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Robert Lynch. The Lynch’s resided in Eaton Township for 40 years, where they raised four children. in addition to being a homemaker, Janet worked at the Lorain County Recorder’s Office and at Wilmot Printing before retiring to run, the family-owned business, Bob Lynch Graphics. Her greatest joy was her family, and the many camping trips they took over the years across the country. Janet was a lifelong member of North Eaton Christian Church, where she was also a member of Rebekah Circle. After Bob and Janet retired, they moved to Florida where they became members of CompassLife Church in Tavares. Janet was a loving wife of 68 years to Robert (Bob) Lynch. Their children are Jeffrey (Coni) Lynch, Debra Lynch, Patricia (Mark) Meldrum, and Barbara (Mark) Pragg. She was proud grandmother to Amy (Scott) Kuhn, Jared (JP) Lynch and Joshua (Monica) Meldrum, as well as her beloved great grandchildren, Harper, Camryn, and Malcolm. Janet is also survived by her sister, Judy Weston Trulik of Brockwell, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Wells, and Gertrude (née Patterson) Weston; her brother, Frank Weston; her sister, Lois West (née Weston); nephew Russell Weston; and dear uncle and aunt, Otis and Virginia Blessing. There will be a celebration of life to honor both Janet and Robert to be announced at a later date. It will be held at North Eaton Christian Church, Grafton, Ohio.
