Jane T. McCoig

Jane T. McCoig, 70, of Paisley, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. Born in New London, Connecticut, she moved to Central Florida in 1979 from North Vasselboro, Maine. She was a Nurse and was a member of Sandy Acres Baptist Church, Umatilla. Jane was a foster parent for over 16 years, she served as President of the Seminole/Orange Foster Parent Association. She also served as President of the Friends of the Library in Paisley and was the VBS director at her church for several years. Jane is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth M. McCoig, Paisley, FL; 4 sons, Karl Peterson, Deltona, FL, Kenny McCoig, Apopka, FL, Joseph McCoig, Belleville, MI, John McCoig, Warren, MI; 2 daughters, Anne Marie McCoig, Paisley, FL, Tiffany McCoig, Mount Dora, FL; 1 grandchild, Karly Anne. Services will be held at Sandy Acres Baptist Church, 24998 SE Hwy 42, Umatilla on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
