James L. Wollman, 86, of Sorrento, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, he moved to Florida in 1994 from Phillipsburg, NJ and to Sorrento in 2015. He was owner of Warren Brake and Tire of Phillipsburg, NJ prior to his retirement to Florida. James was a member of the Daytona Antique Auto Racing Association (DAARA) and was a Board Member of the Auto Racing Legends, Living Legends of Auto Racing of Daytona, and National Old Timers Auto Racing Club. of Flemington, New Jersey. He was the first Late Model champion at Flemington Speedway in 1987 and 1988 and raced at tracks throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania during his career. After retiring he participated in exhibition racing at numerous Florida speedways. James was also a member of the Sorrento Church of God. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna M. Wollman of Sorrento, FL; 3 daughters, Alethea Therase Wager (Daniel Anderson) of Sorrento, FL, Jacklyn (Michael) Frey of Easton, PA, Linda Groff of Easton, PA; son, James Lee Wollman of Phillipsburg, NJ; brother, John Wollman of Alpha, NJ; sister, Ruth Koppe of North Carolina; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wollman. Interment will be held at the Sorrento Cemetery, Sorrento, FL. Memorial services will be held at a Sorrento Church of God on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at
