James C. Semento

James Semento, 86, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, he moved to Eustis in 1974 from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He retired as Captain of the West Milford, New Jersey Police Department. James served in the US Marine Corps during Korea. James was a former member of the Police Benevolent Association, Toastmasters and Rotary. James volunteered as a bailiff with the Lake County, Florida Court House. He is survived by his wife, Joan Semento, Eustis, FL; 5 sons, Lawrence J. Semento, Mount Dora, FL, Alan E. Semento, Broken Arrow, OK, Donald A. Semento, Eustis, FL, Glen R. Semento, FL, William R. Semento, Mount Dora, FL; daughter, Carol S. Guerry, Tyner, KY; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
