James "Jim" M. Pierce

James M. Pierce also known as Jim but affectionately called "Porky", 72 years old of Eustis, FL and Monroeville, PA, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. Born in Braddock, Pennsylvania, he was a member of the Norwin, PA Elks Lodge #2313 and an associate member of the Eustis Elks Lodge #1578. He was also an avid Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and a car enthusiast. Jim worked for US Steel as a crane operator for many years and was a member of the United Steelworker's Union, Local 1219. He is survived by his wife of 32 years (together for over 40 years), Helen M. Pierce of Eustis, FL and Monroeville, PA; daughter, Darra (Jay) Hydak of Eustis, FL; 3 brothers, Frank Pierce of Texas, Larry Pierce of White Oak, PA, John Pierce of Tampa, FL; sister, Theresa Pierce of North Braddock, PA; grandson, Wayne Hydak (Jess Mainetti) of Mount Dora, FL.
