James Alan Meeks, 63, of Tavares, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019. Born in Winter Park, Florida, he graduated from Ocoee High School with the class of 1974. He lived most of his entire life in the Central Florida area. Alan owned & operated Common Sense Heating & Air in Clermont. He is survived by his wife, Audrey P. Meeks, Tavares, FL; parents, Ray and Ouida Meeks, Windermere, FL; 3 sons, Ben Meeks, Orlando, FL, Troy Meeks, Apopka, FL, Adam Meeks, Winter Garden, FL; 3 brothers, Monte Meeks, Winter Garden, FL, Eddie Meeks, Winter Garden, FL, Mark Meeks, De Leon Springs, FL; 4 grandchildren, Abby, Alyssa, Kyla and Maverick. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
