James M. McCartney

James M. McCartney, known affectionately as Jim, passed away on June 18,2024, in Tavares, Florida, at the age of 83. He was born on September 10, 1940, in Pass Christian, Mississippi, to John McCartney and Edna Faith. Jim led a fulfilling life as the Owner & Operator of an air conditioning company, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those he served. Prior to his successful career in the business world, Jim honorably served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating his commitment to his country. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jim cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda G McCartney (Moncriff), daughters, Crista Eberle and Candice Reed, along with 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. His warm smile and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A man of integrity and kindness, Jim will be remembered for his generous spirit and willingness to always lend a helping hand. His legacy lives on through the memories shared by family and friends who were touched by his presence. May James M.
