James Watson "Jake" Hagan, Jr., 86, of Cocoa, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014. Born in Callahan, Florida, he attended Eustis High School in the early 1940's. He was a prolific mechanic and loved stock car racing, even driving early in his career. He worked in sales & service for American Can. Jay was the treasurer and very active member of Trinity Baptist Church, Wildwood, prior to moving to Cocoa in 1996. He was a member at First Baptist Church, Merritt Island. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret Hagan, Cocoa, FL; 2 daughters, Linda McFadden, Orlando, FL, Angie Hayes, Baxter, TN; step-son, Tony Kirby, Palm Bay, FL; 3 step-daughters, Aza Bogardum , Orlando, FL, Pamela Schenker, Orlando, FL, Tami Scheip, Mooresville, NC; sister, Eloise Matthews, Eustis, FL; former wife, Virginia Corbett; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
